Void legs in an accumulator

If a leg gets voided

A postponed match that isn't played within the bookmaker's time limit makes your acca leg void, as does a market that can't be settled. Check the rules of the bookmaker you bet with, since each one sets its own window.

How the bet is affected

The void leg counts as odds of 1. That leg is removed, and the rest of the acca stays. If one leg of a treble is void, the bet turns into a double at the other two prices.

An example worked through

If all three win, you receive £90 from a £10 treble priced at 2.0, 1.5 and 3.0. If the leg at 1.5 is void, the bet turns into a double priced at 2.0 and 3.0, and it returns £60. If a leg is played and then loses, the bet loses. Void legs are handled by our acca calculator.
